First Mod - Bowtie Delete

I'm surprised I don't see this more often on the new front end. Simple job and I think it looks great. To me the bowtie is a little too 3D with the way it protrudes from the grill.

I like badge removals.

That looks very good.

ProdigalLunatic 03-06-2021 09:24 PM

I like that. Cleaner and more aggressive. I might have to look at that...

On step closer to gray

To each their own I guess. The iconic bow tie belongs on every Chevy IMO!

I took the bowtie off my Shadow Gray 2020 2SS, left it off for a couple months and ended up putting it back on, I felt like without it the front end looked more like an LT1 front end...

I feel like it’s missing something without the bowtie as well. Somehow seems out of balance. Having said that, if you like it, screw my opinion. It’s your Camaro.

What about about the rear end?

I like my Camaro with no CHEVY BOW-TIES. IMO

Each to there own.

Invertalon 03-07-2021 06:52 AM

Eh, I like it better with both front and rear badges. Not even with the Camaro, but cars just look off without them. I much prefer the look with them.

Trak-Toy 03-07-2021 07:07 AM

I am with the prefer the badge group. But as previously stated by another poster, it’s your car so do what you like. I did NOT like the badge in the bumper the 2019 had though...

I remember when a mod was something that improved performance. I guess anything passes for a mod nowadays. Pretty soon people will be calling a trip to the car wash a mod.

To each their own with their car. But I never understood why people take a car as awesome as this and then remove the badges instead of displaying them proudly. Here I am wishing the "ZL1" emblems on my Camaro were actually bigger and in more places.

I'm planning the same thing, but man, do they make it hard to get to the screws that hold it on...

my thoughts, exactly.

heavily modified = smoked tail lights, clear markers, removed badges, custom floor mats and vinyl wrapped interior pieces. to be fair, i don't think anyone claiming these are mods have ever had their camaro out past midnight haha.
