Do you have a Daily Driver in addition to your Camaro?
 

And how do you use the Camaro?

As noted in my previous post, I just replaced a 2003 Mini 5-speed with a 2015 Mini Cooper 6-speed as a daily driver commuter. I also have a 2011 Kawasaki Z1000.

I have a 6 mile non-highway commute 25 to 35 mph speed limit with 19 traffic lights along the way. I commute to work with either the Mini or the bike. I rode the bike to work this year about 30 times, the rest was either my old Mini or this new one.

The 1LE would be totally wasted on that commute so it stays garaged when I go to work. I drive it weekends and occasionally at night in nice weather. I take it to an HPDE road course track day once a year - so far it has been to Lime Rock and Palmer Motorsports - next year Watkins Glen. In total I put 2500 miles a year on the Camaro, and store it under a cover from Thanksgiving to April.

Sometimes I think it's kind of a waste to not drive it more, but the good side is that it feels super special each time it does come out, and I still love it more than any car I've ever owned. :wub:

up until this last May....my car has always been my DD, although my commute is 50 miles each way 4 days/week and is nearly all highway. I bought a new Colorado to be my DD to keep the miles of my "FUN RIDE".

2017 Silverado 5.3 is my DD. I live 5 minutes from work and I still drive the 1le to work occasionally (mainly because I just bought it a month ago). I anticipate it spending more time in the garage during the work week as time goes on.
Before I bought it my truck was the exclusive DD as my 02 SS is too built for daily comfort lol.

2014 Silverado as the daily. Camaro is the toy.

I loved my 15 colorado. It was a good looking truck, especially with the 6 cylinder and the crew cab. Only real reason I went to the Silvy is bed space.

2017 Silverado Z71 is my 60%daily, i drive the camaro alot.

I have a few I guess.

I use my Lexus GX470 as my DD but with the mods, it gets worse gas mileage than the Camaro haha but I'd rather keep the miles off the Camaro.

2010 Xterra is my daily, although at 182000 miles I'm thinking about replacing it with a Colorado. Also have a 2005 Z1000 but it hasn't seen much use this year. Commute is too much stop and go traffic to make it even remotely enjoyable on the moto.

my dd fluctuates between the 2016 Z06 M7, a 2004 Buick rendezvous with 69k orig miles I picked up for 845.00 last year with 42k miles, my 2018 zl1 M6, and a newly aquired trackhawk :) I drive the Z06 more than anything else tbh

Use a 2018 chevy Silverado 3500 srw duramax cc lb as my DD

I just bought a beater car 2001 Eclipse spyder GT convertible for 500 bucks..put about 700 hundred into it. Ac works now, convertible works now and it is now my daily to work and back 60 miles. just in 3 months have put 3600 miles. Cheap gas, fun little car. Trying to keep miles off my Camaro. I appreciate how fun it is to drive on weekends more than ever. First time I've ever owned two cars and if I can I always will now. Hell, I've been able to take my time on mods now since downtime doesn't affect me anymore.

mine is my dd....bought it to drive it, lol. i do use my wife's 08 pontiac torrent in the snow, though
