Sirius XM 1 year vs 3months?
 

I see many people referencing a 1 year XM deal, but I know that I've only been told it's a 3 months deal?

Is there some way that I can get a 1 year deal as well (I'm in Canada if that's going to make a difference)? I'm expecting my car here in a week or two.

The window sticker should have the detail on how many months you get - in the US mine did - 12 months. About 2 weeks after you get the car you should start getting emails and offers from XM. The longer you wait the better the deal. But meantime if you guys have window stickers like we do - the duration should be evident.

I got a free 3 months i believe, when i called in to cancel they offered me something i refused, they than offered me 100$ CAD all in for 1 year. I honestly hardly ever use it and probably won't be renewing it.

I got a year free on my 2017. Mine is an SS. Maybe the model makes a difference.

I got a year free with my 2016 RS.

It may be a Canadian market thing - interesting. You might be able to check pricing and get someone on this side to register your radio ID if the cost is too high.

100$ CAD a year is pretty cheap, thats like 76$ USD.
Less than $6.50 USD a month, I wouldn't pay any more though.

Mine is an SS as well ... We'll see what it says and I might try to negotiate with XM over it.

When I purchased my 2SS (April of 2016) the Dealership and I had to fight with XM/Sirius about this. As stated before "this is stated on the cars Window Sticker." To make a long story short, after numerous calls I was finally able to get my "1 year free XM/Sirius Service" plus 3 months because of all of the trouble that I had to go through to get the issue resolved.
