Does anyone have pictures of an install Camaro Zl1 of the hood modification I'm hearing about. I'm hearing you have to cut the hood or rain catch under the carbon fiber insert. If you can send me a DM with your fix or a picture with no modifications needed. Thanks

gotswap did a great job I cut mine like this just waiting for an insert from LPE.. I cut short so I made sure the insert fit..

I have a slight rub mainly from the tabs that stick down on the under side of the insert. I have a 1/2 in space under my lid if I didn't have the spacer it wouldn't rub I'm not sure if I want to cut tabs off a 1000.00 part yet.

Still looking at a AC copo hood to..

1.5" hole saw for the corners to give them a nice rounded edge and a cutoff wheel. Just go slow.
