Alternative to PDR
 

I was at SEMA this year to meet up with a few vendors and ask some questions about upcoming parts for the Camaro.

Anyways the point for this post.
One company caught my eye Waylens

Its basically a plug in PDR, small device plugs into your OBD-II port and has a camera that can attach to the windshield or your dash.
It'll show speed, RPM's, G-force, GPS location and a lot more. Plus you can customize and you can choose what you want to share and how to share it

Some key features in their brochure:
1080P 60FPS
720P 120FPS
Auto stop and start with engine, continuous recording and bookmarking with remote control
Wifi and Bluetooth control
External memory card slot.

I'm not affiliated with this company in any way shape or form. I just thought it would be a good alternative to the PDR or paying out the nose to have a factory unit installed (if at all possible)
Plus it runs for 499.00 US

They were running a special at SEMA to get $50 off, I asked about a group buy and they were debating a 10-20 order special. Grabbed the information from one of the beautiful women working and want to get in touch for a larger group buy if anyone is interested??

That looks really nice. Might have to invest in one.

I preordered a few months ago on their site. At the time they were saying around october 31 for delivery.

the site now says pre-orders (which are also $50 off on their site) are not shipping until december 2016. Looks like the kickstarter backers are getting theirs within the last few weeks. If it works as well as they claim, it should be awesome.
