Thanks! This was literally the first pass, zero street miles, on the MT ET Street R's.

I went from a 305/35/20 MT ET Street SS on a 20x11 Forgestar wheel to the 305/45/17 ET Street R's on a 17x10 Forgestar Drag Edition wheel and saw a HUGE improvement on 60' time:

ET-SS - 1.58
ET-R - 1.43

What is that hose under the car?

Thanks! It's the drain hose for the under-hood ice/exp tank. I thought I had it tucked up, but it must have fallen down.

Looks this also set the record for 1/8 mile - same category.

How much do you think switching to the 4 speed trans took off your times?

Very nice!! Looks so mean lifting the front end up on launch.

Hard to say. I am still running the factory 3.23 rear, and I am only crossing the 1/4 mile traps in 3rd gear at 5200-5300 rpm. I feel this is leaving a lot on the table, which is why I will be testing the 3.73 next spring. I've figured this will put me through the trap around 6200-6300 rpm with a 28" tire.

My HP peaks around 6100 rpm, but it tapers off slow.

With the 3.73 I should be able to take more advantage of the powerband all the way down the track and though the trap.

I wish I had a set of skinnies on there. Probably would have seen some daylight under the tire!

Impressive! Great pics. In retrospect, as many SS owners feel, I should have got a ZL1. Factory forged bottom end is just one of many reasons.
