Iat2 sensor for SS supercharged?

Hello,

I am wondering if there is anyway to make IAT2 sensor work.
I know IAT sensor is re-wired from MAF to MAP for SC cars, but I think I better keep the temp sensor with MAF for calculating air flow more accurately.

I assume there is a pin for IAT2 signal on ECM, blanked. If so, the thing would be quite easy.

Thanks

weird. both mine still work after supercharging it. reads right from my OBD2/P3 guage.

I believe it read a wrong number. I also can read it via Hptuners, but not correct.

the stock temp sensor is in the MAS and since the is pre compressor AFAIK for a PD type supercharger it can't read the correct air temp. On a procharger it is after the intercooler before the procharger.

and here I thought my IAT2 was working. Ever since I got the LT4 Map sensor to read boost natively from the OBD2 port using my Aeroforce gauge. When I pull up IAT2 it usually has a temp there that is different from Ambient & IAT.

To my knowledge, the IAT2 is moved to the IAT1 for reading on gauges. I don't think there is a way to read the IAT1 any longer though as the IAT2 is not programmed into the ECM for our SS Camaros.

Please if this is incorrect someone with more experience correct me or put this in more technical terms. ADM Performance, Weapon X Motorsports, Ted, any other tuners on the forum.

Me too.....We need a tuner to chime in on this.

I use a bluetooth ODB2 adapter and a android app called TorquePro. It works really well.
