T93 tcm module
Has anybody ran into the new T93 tcm for the 2020 vehicles, I have a 2020 SS camaro, hp tuners doesn’t have support for it yet, I see hp tuners has an option for a new unlocked T87A , you supply the service number and vin , I wonder if the one could be swapped for the other ? Does anybody know what might be different about the two ?

Ya I found out the hard way today when I pulled the tcm on my 20 that they now have a T93 tcm and its a bosch so it will prolly be forever until its supported. I was talking to hptuners and as soon as I mentioned T93 they stopped responding and haven't even said if they are working on it.

According to HP Tuners they have no plans to support the T93 tcm.

Dang that sucks. I wonder if you can swap a T87a from a 2019 with the A10?

All 2020 vehicles have a the T93 from what I gather, wonder why the changed it ? It would be a 400 dollar gamble

I can almost bet this wont work, historically GM doesnt just make a module change. There are changes to the CANBUS system as well. GM isnt known for being able to swap modules from each year in order to bypass or upgrade something.

The T93 TCM in 2020 and newer Camaro SS and ZL1 is not tuneable per: 1. HP Tuners 2. Jannetty Racing 3. Nickey 4. Race Proven Motorsports The T93 TCM will never be cracked/broken. :mad0259: No sense in modding a 2020 + Camaro that cannot have the TCM tuned too. GM has screwed us once again. I was planning to buy a 2021 or 2022 ZL1, but now I will probably buy a 2021 or 2022 Hellcat Red Eye or a Mustang GT and build it. |
I read some where they moved the body control module or some part of it to the tcm ?, you would think someone could work around it
