New to Camaro’s and this just popped up:

T = Touring Drive Mode
There are 3-4 drive modes, depending on what model of Camaro you have. Between the driver and passenger seat there is a button you can press to change Drive modes. S = Sports S/I = Snow/Ice There may also be a Track Mode. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2016/07...-how-to-video/ |
Should really open that manual man
|
Lol someone hasn’t tried using the fun modes yet

Given the question above I'm guessing you're probably not familiar with things like the different steering modes and traction control either. Like mentioned above you should definitely read the manual
|
I’m gunna go out on a limb & guess that you don’t know you can change the gauge layout either.
Don’t feel too bad, though, there’s a lot to these cars. Quote:

Welcome to the Camaro6 Forum!!! Don't hesitate to ask...great group of folks on this forum.
|
Do you have the dual exhaust mode? You’ll notice a difference in sound when you go to sport and track modes
|
It is the Turbo Boost ICON like in Knight Rider, but better.
I jest, I am going to agree with some on here. Welcome have fun with the car but... take it to the driveway or parking lot or somewhere safe, while at the car open the book and read it while messing with the car. It has some pretty cool features. What is your exact car/options? |
Our gauge cluster has an array of features a mile long. I’d probably advise you to read through the manual while parked in the driveway with the engine on and go through everything. You’ll probably be there for 20 min but it’s a good way to get to know everything.
The night I bought the car I was probably in the driveway for an hour with the manual playing with the instrument cluster and infotainment displays. |

Second - thanks for coming by and asking questions. As others have stated - the new car is awesome - especially all the dash/infotainment options that are available and customizable to your preferences...its going to take a few days to get over everything! To the others - it may be that when he took delivery of his car - they did not go over all the nuances that are available - my sales guy did not show me that there was a button over the trunk license plate (next to the rear view camera) to open the trunk without using the key - I ready that here and had to check it out for myself...at 2AM...the forum here will help you out with a lot - so - enjoy it and drive it for all its worth! And ask away when needed! |
