I am back.. 2019 Camaro SS 1LE (Riverside Blue Metallic)
UPDATE: After a careful consideration I decided to go back to my beloved SS 1LE. I have been tracking with my highly modified 2017 Mazda Miata for the last couple of years. Then I noticed that I barely use the Miata, towing truck and the trailer (since I work from home most of the time) and so I wanted to go back to Camaro so that I can fit 4 people and drive to and back from tracks. I traded in the truck and will soon sell the Miata . Towing will not be an option for a couple years until I receive the Cybertruck that I ordered :)
I was torn between the ZLE and SS 1LE and finally I settled on SS as I wanted to keep the car in NA form and consumables in check and reach my target weight (below 3500lbs). Also that way, I can finish what started with the 1LE. I am planning some weight reduction, suspension mods, harness bar and race seat and possibly upgrade to ZL1 1LE suspension with all the supporting mods. I already ordered and received some parts for the new car and will list everything in my journal. I will update my mod list for the current car but will also keep the previous information as a reference. How close are the two blues to each other? The new one looks a touch lighter. |
