Chevy Performance website CAI delete

Noticed today that the CAI is gone from http://www.chevrolet.com/performance...arts/2016.html

brutusvk 06-09-2016 11:09 AM

It is still there. Second item listed

leadfoot93 06-09-2016 11:35 AM

I don't see it anymore either

LesBaer 06-09-2016 11:40 AM

Me neither. They're definitely not selling as many Camaros as they thought they would have by this point, which obviously hurts the market demand for accessories. That or it just doesn't work....

It was the second item but is gone now. Likely your browser is caching an old version of the web page.

As long as they still produce those black tail lights I'll be happy...

davet435 06-09-2016 12:25 PM

Damn! I've been holding off because I wanted the tune with it. So six months or so they have it listed, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been holding out for it, then no explanation they just take it off the site. Chalk up another one for GM!

brutusvk 06-09-2016 12:36 PM

You're right, on my other computer it is gone. Must have been showing the old version.

Screw GM. All their SEMA promises are a joke. The dark tail lights, the sill plates, the CAI... nothing. Our CAI will come with a recalibration blah blah blah. The dark tail lamps were one of the first accessories they listed. Nada about them. Then GM to make up for their screw ups gives me a certificate for accessories. Says it expires in 60 days. BUT THEN HAVE NO ACCESSORIES. People can say GM cares. But they don't. Make the enthusiasts lose interest and your new model will not be a success. Their dealers say... "no problem here" with obvious exhaust problems, dash rattles, etc.

People ask me if I like my car. I tell them yes. But I would not buy a GM product ever again. Nissan, Ram and VW all treat their customers better. And I have been a chevy fan for 30 years. But buying my first new car from them is a wake up. Bet you continue to see them lose sales to the mustang.

Funny thing, the parts guy even told me. I doubt ANY of the parts you want will ever actually hit the market. GM has a habit of this.

Well that sucks. Guess next years upgrades will be a front splitter!

brutusvk 06-09-2016 01:01 PM

Looks like I will go back to twitter and facebook and let them know they are FoS.

leadfoot93 06-09-2016 01:09 PM

They could be waiting for the whistling sound fix first.

SSport16 06-09-2016 01:25 PM

That stinks, was waiting for their intake...see what happens if they ever mention anything about it, doubt it though.
