Door open???
 

My driver side door is getting the door open alarm and the window will not go up or down... I thought it has to just be the door switch but I don’t see one. Anyone else have this issue? I can’t think of anything else that could cause this.

I would disconnect and reconnect the battery if you haven’t tried yet

The sensor may be built into the door latch. If the window doesn't work then it could be an issue with the wiring harness in the door causing both problems.

Does seem to be a short somewhat. If I hold the window button up or down I loose power to all the buttons and that seems to be when I get the message. It has been raining for the last 3 days so I’m assuming I got some water in there. Guess I’ll be tearing the door about to get to the wiring harness with a probe later this week. If anyone has a wiring diagram for the door harness pin out it would save me some time. Thank you in advance.

Update solved. Water got into the door switch harness dried and wrapped to help prevent it from happening again and everything is working fine.
