Who is ready for Cruise Around with the Top DOWN!

Ok some of the USA is already doing it. But MOST is not...

We are hitting 60s here next week and I will take advantage of every chance I get! Been about 3 month since I could consistently put the top down. There have been a few days here and there but winter is winter.

I miss the Targa top on my C7.

I just live with a sunroof. Not the same as a sunroof, but it's a bit more work to make a convertible work for a track day.

Been snowing on and off for about the last 20 hours now, still probably 10-12 hours of it to go. No real accumulation to speak of (yet), but who knows what to expect. Roads are salty. Car will remain in hibernation for at least another six weeks for me.

Bay Area, CA here. I've had my top down several times already this year. Drove home from work yesterday with the top down. It's been upper-50s to mid-60s here lately, but I've driven with top down with temps as low as 40°F.

Six more weeks here

I wish they’d come out with T-tops for the Camaro or Mustang (or similar). My favorite car of all time was my 86 GT with T-tops (for nostalgia sake than anything else) Of course there’s a couple minutes to stow / put back on, but some reason, I didn’t mind the inconvenience.

My first car was a '84 Camaro Sport Coupe V8 with T-tops. I would never go back. Getting out of the car, opening the trunk lid, unlocking the top, removing it, putting in in the pouch, repeating the same on the other side, then strapping the pouch in the trunk could never compare to pushing a single button while driving up to 30 MPH.

I'm ready. Weather is not. Hoping in a month an a half.

I personally don't mind manually stowing away and putting on the Targa top on my C7 if it means improved structural strength and lighter weight over a soft top. Just comes down to if you lean more towards performance or convenience.

I mean, there are a lot of people who don't even have a sunroof on their Coupes for even better performance.
