Scissor Lift

Has anyone used one for their 6th Gen Camaro? I want to get one for doing oil changes, pull all four tires for general cleaning and when I need to polish the lower sides instead of laying on my side in the carport, so any helpful advise would be appreciated.

For oil changes, use Race Ramps. Safe for you and your car!

I have looked at the full race ramp setup, a little more pricey than a lift unless I can find one that doesn't run around 2k.

I have a mid rise scissor lift

And use 4 aluminum body seam pucks

Works like a charm.

Take a look at Quickjack as well

I had a scissor lift. It was always in the way and not that practical for most jobs. I sold it and now have 4 identical aluminum floor jacks. That setup works very well. I wouldn't trade it for a QuickJack.

I was looking at the Restyler Magna Ramps, a little cheaper than the pit stop race ramps but really the same.

I use the quickjack 7000ext. work out great. just a PITA to set up and make perfect for pinch points.

I use one of these too. I also put these on the lift points/pinch welds, cheaper than ZL1 Addons. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you use them with the QuickJack put the ones in the front in the lift point furthest to the rear. Otherwise the QuickJack will not reach it, even the 7000EXT.

yeah before I got the quick jack, I had my lift points (from ZL1addons) just right behind and in front of each wheel. with the EXT I still had to made the adjustments. I would still recommend the EXT because of how the pinch points sit on our cars.

Same here takes me less than 10 min from starting to the car in the air.

I just got the 7000SLX Quick Jack from Costco for $1,000.00.
Strange as it was advertised as 5000SLX, and was sold out within the first day of the ad.
In fact it went on BO, and 2 days ago it was delivered, and I just noticed it was the 7000SLX.
Still recovering from hip surgery, but once I'm good, the QJ will be installed QUICKLY!
Anticipation is killing me every time I see the 3 boxes!:bellyroll:

This will make detailing the wheels so much easier, as well as fluid & bushing changes and flushing the brake fluid system...time to lube the creeper wheels!

Did you get the extensions? If you didn’t and don’t have the EXT model you won’t be able to lift your Camaro
