Thanks to Koons Chevrolet, fellow forum member and 1LE owner, Phillip Sheldon, I struck a deal and got a 1LE of my own! I can't even explain how pumped I am... I've been waiting since 2014 to get one.

Congrats! It looks fantastic. It says your location is in Charlotte is that correct? If so I am going to bug you to bring your car our to one of our autocross events at zMax. :) We actually have one this weekend if you want to come by and check it out.

I live in the Steele Creek area yes! And when? Also, anyone know how to get the front plate holder off?

Congrats

I think I remember seeing a post somewhere in the forum....If I remember correctly it isn't supposed to be difficult to remove if it's held in place with screws...If rivets, then they need to be drilled out.

I found the post. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=443581

Back in 2011 I went to look at a 2011 SS at one particular dealer here in NC and they got it on a dealer trade/swap from a dealer in VA and it had the front plate holder installed. On the 5th gens it was riveted into the front bumper....and so I didn't get it. I think the front plate holder is not as invasive on the 6th gens. I wish the dealers in VA would not install the front plate until the car is sold that way if it's sold to a state that doesn't require a front plate then no harm. But that's just my .02 ;)
