This is what about 1k in parts can do for your car.
Labor and misc materials was less than 1.5k
Tunning was less than 1k

So all in about 3k

The before and after are highlighted with a sharpie.

Nice. However, I will go so far as to say that you’re a few mods away from FBO. An aftermarket throttle body or a ported LT5 would suffice, along with an MSD (preferably ported, too), ATI U/D Pulley, etc. We don’t have information on the headers, such as primary size or whether or not they are catted. Nonetheless, your car is making good power but, there’s certainly room for growth.

Errybody FBO these days

After that he could still do a cold air scoop. Electric water pump. Lighter clutch. Gearing. Weight reduction. Etc etc. All bolt ons. I’ve never actually seen a truly FBO 6th gen.

No more room for growth... I'm done.

Ha ha ha that is what you tell your wife. We know better.

Intake, I have one, it cost 459 bucks

Ported intake manifold with ported throttle body is about 550 bucks with exchange

Long tube headers, even if you buy chinese ones thats around 600 bucks

X-pipe from china must be a few hundred bucks easily?

E85 sensor, is it 200 bucks for the cheap one?

Headers were $350, intake was free, TB and im were 550, headers back is simply going to the local muffler guy and letting him go to town.

People seem to like to waste large amounts of money on prepackaged kits that can be done for a small fraction of the price if pieced together on your own.
Like the catch can... That can be done effectively for under $25 yet people spend over $200 on a kit...
Or an axel back muffler delete for $400. Your local muffler guy can do that for $100.
A GM E85 sensor is $30.

Not everyone wants to run $20 bucks ebay catch can. Not everyone likes to just cut and weld. They can spend $400 bucks for axle back and DIY and swap them back and sell it later.

Also Did you know you can buy E85 kit included harness for $200 and you can resell them for $150 later?

So that says 90hp gain?
Ummm...o.k

ULTRAZLS1 04-13-2019 03:53 PM

He’s basing it off a stock dyno guess of his car. Which below 400 is pretty low for a manual. I think his mods have been proven for 80 rwhp same dyno iirc

You do realise different dynos read differently and the best way to figure out gains is on the same Dyno right?
Cause otherwise this one shows me making massive gains!!!
