Illuminated Door Sill Plate Wiring Harness - Now made own harness
I’ve bought a pair of the uplevel illuminated door sill plates and just realized the OEM kit includes a harness with the sill plates. Was wondering if anyone knew either the part number for the harness or another way to wire up the sill plates?
They are the OEM sill plates with the connectors but no harness. I see the part number for the sill plates are 84127636 and/or 84127637 but can’t find the harness by itself |

Tapping into the circuit was the easiest part. I'm pretty sure that's the same one you want for the door sills; on when the doors open and timed fade off when closed. |
I used my own wire as well and looked at the harness instructions. On the passenger side is a grounding screw already. And you actually can tap the same place the oem harness does

I just got my sill plates today and using all the links you guys provided I made what I think is the equivalent of the OEM harness and it works!
(Ignore the flickering, I accidentally kept missing the pos/neg on the 9V) DIY harness in action I’m gonna wait for homedepot to open tomorrow to get some heat shrink and probably a bigger ring terminal size to fit the OEM grounding screw as Oramac2016 said |
I ordered the parts and had the dealership install them. Door sills came with the required harness. I'd have thought yours would as well.

Got the sill plates from a FaceBook member for $80 and realized he didn’t have the harness mid shipping |
