JMS Throttle controller and PP custom tune later?
So I'm not ready to fork out the bucks for a PP custom dyno tune (he's local to me and I had him do my 17 Camaro SS), but I've read tons of great reviews on the JMS. I don't remember my throttle response changing that dramatically with his tune and bolt ons on my last 17 Camaro. Would it possibly cause issues for his tune? I watched the guys at RPM in Delaware a while back yank somebody's throttle controller off because it was jacking with their tune.

Yes it will likely cause issues. It wasn't RPM's tuning that was causing the JMS to be incompatible, it's the interference or communication issue that appears to happen when you flash the ECU with the JMS.

Thank you sir. I may still get one until I feel like spending a grand plus for the tune. I’ve read tons of great responses on JMS on Camaros and Vettes and the factory throttle response sucks. People seem to sell them after the tune, so I may go for one of those. Then again, I may just keep saving and do my lt2/95mm and tune at once.

I have the Solar TC but I assume they all operate similarly. I’d like to keep mine even after I get it tuned. The adjustability in the fly is really nice, plus snow/ice/wife mode. lol
