Best driving roads in New England/Hampshire?

Recently moved to southern New Hampshire. Season is over but already looking forward to next spring. Wondering if anyone has suggestions for favorite spirted driving roads in New England? Closer to Manchester/Nashua is better. :happy0180:

I live in Central MA and gotta say, the roads are SO much better in Western MA vs Eastern MA (and a lot of good Southern NH roads too!). Rt 2 west of Greenfield to North Adams is great, Routes 112 & 143 heading to the Berkshires, and Route 116 from Conway through Ashfield too. Just did a lot of this a few weeks ago in the wife’s Alfa as part of a club drive and it was perfect.

Route 101 from about Amherst to the VT border was always a generally nice ride. You can keep going into VT and follow Route 9 to the Bennington area, or you could catch Route 9 the other direction to Concord and then sort of circle back to where you started.

Kancamagus Highway is a nice road overall, but getting there isn't necessarily a fun drive. :)

There is always the Mount Washington Auto road, best views around. My fear of heights kicks in about midway up.

This site has some info: https://www.visitnh.gov/things-to-do/scenic-drives

In my area, I like West Road in Hampstead, NH. It’s winding and hilly and fun. Lightly policed :D Not a long drive but other roads in the area are good too.

The coastal road that starts in Seabrook and ends in Portsmouth is something you should check out at least once as well.

There’s a dope route that goes from Hudson to Windham, but I can’t remember the name. Basically the beginnings and ends are the DCU in Hudson and Windham High School.

Can’t wait til it’s Miata weather again. Or til I score my Camaro.

My favorite place in NH to cruise is New England Dragway :D

There are some great roads south of Loudon, like 107 and 43 and others. Distances are short so you can criss-cross the area several way in a day. And don't miss the New England Racing Museum.
