HD radio issue
 

So I have a 2020 Camaro with the Bose system. I cannot see the the icon or button anywhere in the settings or display. I called GM and they said the car has it. I live and drive in the same area as my pickup truck that receives several HD stations so I know that isn't the issue. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing or does it not tell you on the display?

Maybe this link will provide a better answer than me. I wasn’t aware this was possible but it looks like some people have tuned to HD stations.

Thank you. The issue I'm having is I don't have a button to toggle on and off to select HD radio even in an area with HD stations.

I agree, I have a 2020 2SS (without navigation) and it does not appear to have HD radio... Am I missing something or does it not have HD? (The owners manual is rather generic to Chevy when it comes to the radio)...

If the SS has HD radio, how do I turn it on?

Since my first response I looked into the HD radio on the the 6th gen. Apparently there’s nothing to toggle, instead just tune to a station local to your location. You can visit https://hdradio.com/ and search your zip code to find the stations available. If you can receive the signal, when you tune to the station the HD symbol should be displayed.

Please post a picture of the HD symbol on your 6th Gen radio as I KNOW I am tuning into HD stations (with adequate signal) and not seeing anything indicating HD...

I wish that was possible but HD wasn’t available for my 2017. That’s why I started looking for more information. I tried tuning to HD and was unsuccessful. However, this is the visual of the symbol being displayed.

Also, hdradio.com doesn’t list the Camaro. In post #13 of my original link I interpret that Mlee had HD is in car and truck.

Thank you for looking into it. Unfortunately that is the infotainment version 2. The 2019+ have the infotainment version 3 and is a totally different computer.

I tried and looked and I couldn't get it to work either. And I know we have HD stations here in Vegas. I almost always use my phone for music so I don't have to hear commercials but if I do listen to the radio I'd like it to be HD.

Doesn't work on my 2018 either. I can tune to the stations that broadcast in HD here, but they seem to just be the normal analog versions, the infotainment screen doesn't display the HD symbol and quality is the same as with any other FM radio station.

bringing this back to life, no HD in my 2021 LT1? 100.3 in MPLS has 3 different available channels, but I only want the one I cannot seem to get!

Update: So the tech looked into and talked to GM too. Long story short, they cheaped out and didn't include HD radio in the Camaro
