Passing Gas

No, I'm not talking about the ridiculous amount this car burns when you step on the loud-pedal! :yikes:

I know this is an odd question, but does anyone else want to preserve the 'new car' smell as much as I do? I don't have food in my car and refuse to pass gas while riding in my baby. This has made for some painful road-trips and frequent stops, but I don't want the leather to absorb the smell. Of course, I only live a mile from work so usually I can make it home without incident. I also try to prevent getting all swassy in my seat, but that's usually OK since I live in the Pac NW and the weather is usualy pretty temperate.

I was thinking about this because my ex-gf was notorious for dropping bombs and then laughing about it, but we broke up before I got this car (thank Goodness!!!:laugh::laugh:).

... And I know this is juvenile, but I'm not 16, I swear. I'm 28... just still a kid at heart and had to chuckle when I realized how ridiculous this sounds. :respekt:

I've had mine 2 1/2 years and still haven't let one rip. I warned my wife and kids about it as well. I don't eat in my car so there's no smell of food either. I keep my windows and sun roof closed as well to keep that new car/leather smell inside.

Does anyone wear a different pair of shoes in their car that never touches the ground! I know someone that does that in his G8!

I like to pass gas in other people's cars only.

Oh, I do too :) Every other week. Haha! I'm still paranoid. :P Glad to hear I'm not the only one who does this, though. Makes me feel a little less neurotic! :happyanim:

I just did this in the office---never the car... Wouldnt want to taint the leather. My friends know it would be bad for their health should they ever do such a thing in my car.

Dude, the seats are preforated so the stink don't hang around in there. They're like giant leather stink colanders..

Unless it turns into a shart.. then you've got bigger problems.
