Not trying to piss in any ones cornflakes but why would you pay extra for the NPP exhaust and then tear it off and pay even more money to replace it?

I'm just gonna go off logic on this one, cant answer for everyone.:iono:

While I don't have NPP exhaust, IF I did get it, and I didn't like the tone or sound, then logically if an aftermarket company made something that sounded better or more to your liking, then one would have a reason to upgrade.

the functionality is the main attraction of the NPP exhaust, being able to open the valves and or close them (i.e. have it loud or mild) when you command.

some may be ok with a stock sound, loud and mild... but some may want a more aggressive sound.:thumb:

I see your point but i would think its still cheaper to just take the stock exhaust and then add an aftermarket exhaust to your liking with a cutout switch. IDK..to each their own. It just seems like a lot of money wasted.

Maybe...I know a lot did that or added npp aftermarket with the 5th gens...so I guess it's do you want the switch feature already included or in an aftermarket setting.

I didnt see a need for npp, personally for myself, but I knew I could always add it post purchase if I ever did develop an interest.

For some it may be money wasted, but gotta look at it as an aftermarket npp exhaust is just plug and play. No wiring to be done and routed, etc...

Lisa, is the standard (non Npp) Borla exhaust different from the GM performance exhaust that Borla provides for GM?

It's gotta be... there's the GM version, then the s-type version then the Atak version. The internals will be different.
