The usb port in my car sometimes works, sometimes it does not. I've narrow it down to the actual usb ports.

The OEM usb port is this one.

Looks like it will to me. shows 2017 Camaro.

I just looked it up on GM parts and it shows it works in your car.

I know they use the same physical connectors. When I upgraded my 15 C7's infotainment to the 16+ system(w/AC and AA), the 15 had the second part, while the 16+ replacement has the first part.

Whether or not it will work correctly, not 100% sure. My 19 Camaro has the second one, FWIW.
