Hurricane Nicole..

Not sure if this belongs here or not, but here goes, but a thread was started last month in this section with concerns of MY well being. Thanks sir!!

This is for all my Camaro family out there in Florida, here we go again with another hurricane!! I wish everybody the best in getting through this, especially the east coast where I'm at. Looks like it is going to be a cat1 when it hits sometime tonight, early tomorrow morning. My heart is out to those folks up in the Daytona, St Augustine, New Smyrna area. They still haven't recovered from Ian, and here comes Nicole. Stay safe everyone and hunker down! This one is again, going to affect almost the entire state. Blessings and safety!! :grouphug:

yup...here we go again.not buying that thanksgiving turkey until the storm has passed.pretty late in the season but these things are not all that predictable.

Challenge it to a race, then leave it in the dust!!

I'm on the west coast, just north of Tampa and ready once again. The storm track is predicted be directly over my house . For all my fellow Floridians, be safe, hunker down and life will be good, once again.

looks like the daytona area is already taking damage from coastal erosion.i guess you can only lose so much sand before the ocean starts swallowing buildings, etc.

I guess the Gods aren't pleased with DeSantis' victory. But I am. Godspeed and hunker down, Floridians!

Well guys, here to say we made it through ANOTHER one!! No damage, no power loss. All good here, for the most part. Was a rough night from 11 til 3:30 when the eye approached us and went right over. I was able to then relax, a bit and get some shuteye. The winds for us were 50-65 mph here on the coast for that time period with some gusts reported around 74-76 mph in Melbourne, which is 5 miles north of me. My prayers are out to the folks in Volushia County where the most devestation was done. Ian had compromise quite a few homes and businesses, and Nicole finished some of them off and the sea reclaimed some property. Was heart breaking to see. Prayers for them and everyone else still being impacted by the storm!!

SaReNi 11-10-2022 11:50 AM

still in it.
