Changing wheels and tires on RS.

Hey I am looking to go with 19" wheels and possibly getting M716's.

Via Phastek's website: "2016-2018 Camaro
Recommended Tire Size for 19x10.5" Front Wheels: 285/30 ZR19 tire
Recommended Tire Size for 19x11" Rear Wheels: 305/30 ZR19 tire"
(My stock tires are 245/40R20)

Is the difference in diameter a problem? The fronts would be 7.2% smaller while the backs 5.4% smaller. Looking around for my answer just made me more confused due to people saying it is and others saying it is not a problem.

Also, what would the wheel gap be like? And to my understanding, it would lower the car too?

Without knowing the offset or backspacing of the wheels, nobody can say what the wheel gap would be like.

I have a square setup but have dropped tire diameters a similar amount (265/40/18), with no ill effects on my V6 LS.

There are some good 35 series tires in 19" sizes. You might shop for those, and then have little if any change in gearing, unless you were looking for that.

Not the same wheel but same size. this is what a 19x11 with a 305/30 will look like. this car also has 19x10.5 front with 305 but has camber involved.

Hi.
2 things.

Do not go 10.5" up front get the 19 x 10".

285/30 is wrong.

285/35 up front and 305/35 out back. This would be about 1/4" smaller than stock sizing.

If you look at my FS01 pics, I am running 275/35 square and have a mild gap....and I am lowered.

If you ran 285/30 you would increase your current gap by a good inch!
