This time they are openly stating 200+ mph. Unless I am mistaken this makes the Hellcat Charger the most powerful and fastest production sedan in the world.

204-mph, 11:00 1/4 mile times. It's faster than the Hellcat Challenger.

Damn... 3.7 0-60 and 11.0 1/4 mile on street tires. I think that trumps the Chevy SS pretty good.

4,560 lbs... Heavier than Challenger but .2 faster in the 1/4

Faster because it is a longer body, less drag.

I wonder what the CTS-V engineers are thinking.

The length of the body has nothing to do with drag. The front end shape and shape of the body as it reaches the end however does. The Challenger is a box driving down the strip. The Charger is a missile.

In the press conference the STR guys say that Dodge was the #1 searched car brand for the first time driven by the Hellcat. We'll have to watch and see what the sales numbers are, but the Hellcat engine / editions have created a buzz for Dodge that is impressive.

Oh my god if they decide to make a police interceptor version! We will be screwed!

Things are getting interesting for sure. Still prefer the previous design for the Charger but maybe it will grow on me.
