Front license plates?

Anyone put them on yet? Pics? :mad0260: Stupid Texas laws.

Nope!!!! I wouldn't destroy the look of this car with a plate....

There is a mount that allows you to bolt the plate to existing bolt holes under the car and not drill into the paint. It's about $100 and linked on this forum. That's what I will probably do when my plates come in.

Whiskey

Whiskey

Is it different than the one that came with my car in the trunk?

Dealer had already put the holder on when i bought it. just got my plates yesterday. Dont like the overpriced under the bumper stuff. This will do till i get around to mounting directly to the lower grill itself.:barf:

Nope not putting the front on. When I bought my car I asked them not to install the front bracket. If rather pay a ticket than put the front license on.

Ugh. My temps last until mid April so I'll probably wait to see if anything else is out by then.

I think my city has more police and sheriff than any other city in TEXAS. You literally cannot drive for 3 minutes without seeing one.

So I went and picked up my plates today. I ran into my sales person and I asked him if I should put on the front plate. He said they don't put them on any of the Camaro's or Vettes and that 9 out of 10 times, the cops don't hassle. I guess we'll find out!!

just buy it, it is cheap and you can take off the plates for shows in 2 seconds.

I have the front on and I saw another one in blue with the front on. I hear some people saying it ruins the car, not exactly sure how big those people's license plates are but they would have to be 3 feet long to ruin the look of the front of these cars. They look mean with or without a license plate. A normal license plate is definitely not big enough to "ruin" the look of these cars. Go ahead and put it on. It looks fine. Lol. However I just zip tied mine that way I can take it off if I need to

This is what I did. Not worth the ticket here in NY. I have gotten pulled over numerous times, I even came home from work, to find a ticket on my car that was sitting in the train parking lot.
