May Incentives

You have got to love Chevrolet. Only May incentive is a lease on a non LT1/SS/ZL1. Two months ago $1000 rebate and last month $1500 rebate. Now nothing. Though if your a teacher they throw you a $500 rebate. Way to screw us waiting on months long ago ordered cars. Not looking for a free Camaro but at least honor the $1500 offer you've been running.

its kind of a moot point, right now you cant get a camaro for love nor money.i dont think they will have a problem selling whatever number of camaros they can produce with the pent up demand/stimulus checks in play.

Unfortunately, that is one of the risks you sign up for when ordering a vehicle. That is also why I have never special ordered anything (yet, anyway). I agree that it is bull. It should be able to be locked in.. you really have no control have quickly (or slowly) the factory builds your car.

Sadly for us incentives aren’t necessary when there is very little supply. I have been reading that new car production in general across all brands could be permanently reduced because the manufacturers and dealers now realize that a limited supply of vehicles on hand increases profits for both the dealers and the manufacturers, with fewer factory incentives needed and much reduced floor plan interest. Many dealers are now charging full MSRP or higher and if a customer walks there is another right behind who will pay the full price of admission. I was shopping for a 2021 Kia Forte GT 6M last week and the dealer wanted over MSRP, said they “needed to manage their inventory” and the Korean automakers supposedly aren’t affected by the chip shortage. Needless to say I found the door and fast...

LOL for a POS Kia. I'm sure someone with a big stimulus check with a bunch of kids will pay for one!

In Canada for March and April had Costco program which was invoice +2% + $1750 cash back. For month of May only $1750 cash back. And same very limited inventory at dealerships.....

Patience is a virtue.

This low inventory situation will pass soon.

When factory ordering a Mopar vehicle you can lock the incentives in at the time of ordering and when the car arrives you can use whichever incentive is better.

I got a $4300 discount when I picked up my Camaro on New Year's Eve last year

Dodge and Ford usually have a lot better incentives than chevy. Even before thr shortage the incentives sucked. It's like they don't care if camaro sells or not.

If you read the offers I’m pretty sure it says take delivery between dates or take delivery by a specified sedate. Unless you an “order by date” in any offer………..they have honored the offer(s) from the previous two months.

I get you are POded, but as pointed out that is a risk you take when you order.

Don think you would want to go back to the $1,500 if they had bumped it to $2,000 in May now would you, you know to honor the rebate from April ;)

I got one of the last 21s new on a dealer lot in the middle of March…..It was a Feb built car…..I got 2400 off the MSRP and 0.9% financing here in Canada…..Still is 0.9% as of today on GM Canada’s website.. Or a 1750 dollar discount if paying by cash…

Hey, were all on the same side. Not picking a fight or Pissed Off. I get it that its at the time purchased. Just asking for GM to throw a bone to the Camaro orders and faithful. Just do the right thing. Just letting people know about the current incentives.

WhiteMale 05-05-2021 06:49 AM

hard to get incentives on a car they don't care about and sell few of.
