First time doing 1/4 mile Roll Race
Hi everyone. Last week I had the opportunity to participate in a Roll Racing event in my hometown PR. It was my first time doing this type of racing but I wanted to know how the car will do and getting to know the car a little more since I've owned it for a few months and haven't had the opportunity to take it to the drag strip.
Anyway it was fun and a little tricky also but great learning experience. Can't wait to take it again but for 1/4 mile drag racing and to get the et's Here's the video: https://youtu.be/Ww1zLVfk1ck |
The car did 120mph in this roll race. I think it was a little low. But it was a very hot day also. Plus I just found out that the 93oct gas I was buying is garbage.
I'm going tomorrow to the dragstrip to do my first 1/4 mile attempt in the ZLE and with a different 93oct gas. So let's see what happens. |
Awesome get a lot of runs in good luck on the ET!

Looks like fun!!
What’s happening at 2:31? A new technique for getting the tires hot?:smiling1: |

it looks like fun, they do it where I live twice a year. 120mph is really low, I was trapping mid 120's from a dig in my car from a dead start 1/4 drag race. You should easily be in the 130's to 140's. |
