Rear end noise

Have a used 2018 SS with 6k miles. Little noise which almost sounds like wheel rub from rear when cold and turning a corner.

Posi not releasing?

Fluid issues?

I will take it into the dealer. Just getting used to the car. Disappears when warm. Odd.

Fluid change is the required fix, common item and should be under warranty. I was told its something to do with manufacturing process contaminating the gear oil, altering the friction modifiers.

Pete is rite on the MONEY!!!! Mine did it first sharp corner in the AM and a FLUID CHANGE cured it and was covered by the Dealer:happy0180:

If only when cold IT"S NOT A PROBLEM. Just what LSD does.

Its enough of a problem for there to be a service notice on it, its not a full recall but even in Aus when I explained it to my dealer they found the notice and swapped the oil straight away.
They told me it would have been changed at my next service if the problem had not been noticed earlier.

Well, tech said four flushes to get it fixed. Yikes. It’s way better now. Very slight once in a while but tech said give it a few days to the new fluid to get into the clutches. Scary though. Hope the rear end is ok now. Don’t need that bill!

I doesn't go completely away. On cold days you will still get a slight groan on the first couple turns...It's normal. If it does it all the time even when up to temp, that is not normal.
