Light Bolt on E85 Very low numbers 😢

Hi guys today I finally had my car dyno tuned I’m from SoCal and today was a very hot day.
Car has a Rotofab intake, and the primary and secondary cats have been deleted, and flex fuel sensor. Car went on dyno in 90 plus degree weather, I was on aired down Drag radials. Numbers are pretty low but im going to have to test it at track because that’s what I really care about Car made 377WHP and 413WTQ on 91 AND 400WHP AND 435WTQ on E70 Is something wrong or is this normal? Car made 365whp when i just got there left with 400 seems about right still missing some HP tho in my opinion Do all those factors like being in 90 degree weather with basically no fan or air hitting car and being on deflated drag radials really affect the car that much? Pulls where done in 5th gear and it’s a 8 speed Auto |
What kind of dyno was it? Mustang dynos are notorious for showing the lowest output but arguably the most useful, while Dynojets typically show higher numbers. So your numbers aren’t necessarily that comparable to others on this board. Plus, at 95 degrees ambient, you’re definitely not going to show as much power versus a 60 degree day.

The fact that your peak HP is at 5200-5300 does not seem right. Most of the dynos that I have seen peak around 6,000 RPM. The torque numbers seem ok. :iono:

I’m going to wait a few months until the weather gets better and hit the track and see if there’s an improvement, and i might have him dyno the car again with street tires and in better weather lol |

I’ve been researching it all day and I’m hearing dynoing on under inflated drag radials really messes with the numbers, I guess I have to wait and see when I go to the track |
who did your tune?

Regardless of the tires - your peak torque should be 4500-4700 and peak HP should be out at 5700-5900rpm on a stock car.
I would be suspect they knew what they were doing. I guess it could be a problem with tuning in the wrong gear also. |

Auto or manual? Autos should be done in 6th gear. Manual 4th is good. |
