Too good to be true? ZLE for $43.4

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...5328/overview/

I have been watching the market on ZL1’s and ZLE’s for a couple months now in anticipation for purchasing in February when my truck is paid off and my tax return comes in as a down. At the top of my list is a hyper blue or nightfall grey ZLE.

Sent this guy. Message fully expecting no response or he wants me to send money overseas. I got a response back this morning with pic’s on google drive
https://drive.google.com/drive/mobil...usp=drive_open

And a vin# 1g1fj1r65j0180140

I’m not in a position to take advantage of it if it is a good deal so maybe someone on here can look into it.

Something seems a little off about the whole thing, if it is all legit that is a KILLER deal. But again with the internet you never know, but 2018 with 3500 miles for the same price as an SS I would want to double check everything, unfortunately I am at work and cant open the google docs but we'll see where this one goes!

Probably a salvage or a scam. Why would anyone sell a car for less than a dealer would cut you a check for? They wouldn't!

Has to be a scam or salvage. I wish I could find one anywhere near that price here in FL!

Definitely sounds WAY too good to be true haha BUT........ if it's legit I need it!

If it is "too good to be true", it most likely isn't!

Juiced1 08-20-2019 11:07 AM

Seems a bit to good to be true.

Exactly...he could get more in 30 min at Carmax if the deal was legit!

A quick google reverse image search bought up this ebay link:

Good luck if you choose to proceed with the Cars.com advert. I wouldn't...

Track day wreck and repair? I suppose that would kill the resale enough for this price to make sense.

LT4Greg 08-20-2019 01:45 PM

On eBay listed for $60,000 which is still too low for a ZL1 1LE IMO!

LT4Greg 08-20-2019 01:46 PM

And the eBay ad said no longer available when I searched it!

Joe Remi 08-20-2019 01:50 PM

Ebay says Kentucky, too. The car - assuming it exists - has traveled 1700 miles to Montana now. Well ok then!

You think 60k is too low for a ZLE? Dealers near me are selling brand new for 61-63k.
