Missing Window Sticker Help
When I purchased my Camaro on September 15th, from Route 66 Chevrolet in Tulsa, I was told the window sticker was gone when I asked where it was after inspecting the car.
I asked them to print another one. They claimed they could not. I went to my home dealership and they told me they couldn't print one either and that the original dealership who ordered the car had to do it and all they had to do was enter the VIN and print it up. Route 66 and my salesman aren't returning my calls, emails, or texts. I've texted, emailed, and left messages telling them I'm willing to pay for a new window sticker and to have it shipped to me. Is there anyone out there can help out with this? My VIN... 1G1FH1R73H0206653 Thank you in advance! |
They can do it but it sounds like they just do not want to.

I wonder if GM could lens a hand I this? |
The originating dealer who recieved the car from the factory can do it, but only up to a year after the date of production. If it’s been longer since the car came off the assembly line (check your production date sticker in the driver’s door jam) GM cannot reproduce an official window sticker. I found this out after the dealer tore the window sticker in PDI for my Mom’s Corvette and we asked for a new one. Since she had it transferred from the originating dealer in Florida to the dealer she bought it from here in Cleveland we had to order it from the originating dealer. It was free and there were no problems getting it but it was explained to us that’s how it works.

My window sticker was missing when I took delivery. Found it shoved down between the passenger seat and the console.

Chevy keeps records of Window stickers for 2 years.

It’ll cost a couple of bucks but here’s the link I used to buy one myself:
https://monroneylabels.com I wanted to know which features came with it before I began price negotiations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

See how hard it is to trust any and every dealership in the country no matter what they tell you? Yours could be right, mine could be right, who the hell knows half the time??? |
They can order a re-print for you from GM. Mine was missing when I got mine and the dealership ordered another and it showed up in my mailbox. Took about 10 days. Not sure about the time limit as others stated above.

Thanks to everyone for your help.
I emailed and left a voicemail for the general manager and I'm hoping to hear from him soon. |
What they told you is true. Only the original dealership that ordered the car can request a new window sticker from GM.
Maybe if you contact Chevy customer service, they can get one for you but if Route 66 didn't order the car, they can't order a new sticker. |

Route 66 was the originating dealership.
Just waiting to hear from the general manager. Until I get a duplicate factory window sticker, I got this one from https://monroneylabels.com that was suggested by another member in this thread. |
