JRE smooth idle cam

Hey guys, I finally cracked the code and linked my Jannetty Racing Smooth Idle Cam video. I'm an old guy and the 25mb email size limit had me scratching my head on this one!
I hope it's worth the wait, I know several guys have been patiently waiting to hear this cam in action! It is certainly as advertised i.e. it is very smooth. Just slightly more aggressive than stock. In person the difference vs stock is slightly more perceptible than in the video.

Wow that is smooth!. I would never even know it has a cam from hearing that. What exactly does this cam offer? Fuel?

Maybe Ted will chime in to better address your question. I'm not sure of the specs, but I know the cam has a 32% fuel lobe and quite a bit more lift and duration but, apparently not a lot of lobe separation. Ted insisted that it will perform virtually identically to his rough idle cam, except of course at idle.

As I stated, it's a little more noticeable in person. I think I'm going to like it, it's definitely more stealthy.

This cam will definately make my life easier when I get bored and decide to sell the car to start my next project. I can de-mod and go back stock except for the cam to trade the car and the dealer would be none the wiser. I know from prior experience that dealers, and most individuals don't want anything to do with a car with an aggressive lope

Sound pretty good. When will you get it dyno tuned or are you just going to use Ted's street tune

I'm going to break it in for a couple hundred miles, then work with Ted on remote tuning. I've got to say, it appears that he has it dialed in pretty good already. I can't imagine that it will perform much better much better after logging & tuning.
I haven't run any e85 yet either, I'm hoping I will have enough high & low side fuel that I don't have to bother mixing.

Sounds good...I bet the idle can be lowered a touch and it will sound a little more aggressive if desired.

Yeah, probably so. I was thinking of lowering it a bit just to see how it sounds.

If you would of posted a few months earlier dang! I went with the GT32 lingenfelter.. because I saw a small video of a little rougher idle from the smooth idle.. I'm sure you can add 100 or 150 rpm and smooth it out more but, I didn't want to take a chance also I used there pump and they have a 44% lobe over the 32 or 38 standard! on e85 got her to 900..

Sounds great really identical from 2 different specs!

Decisions, decisions...I love that setup...but every time I get in the Camaro and hear the little lope, it makes me smile. On my other LT1 I am going for calmer setup...this might be the ticket. Smooth idle, add fuel, bump to 8psi and 715whp. Bam! Daily driver set.

after a year and 1/2 my cam got really smooth, I want a bigger one now! Strange how mean it sounded, now it sounds tame as a kitten... Heck I want the Cam Motion "lil'loop" truck cam now....

I know what you are saying. My cam seems to be smoothing out too. Here is my daughter revving it.

For comparison, this is the JRE Rough idle cam...

Tame, heck that is an "Oldman"cam, like a Camry or sum'ting. LOL.

I wouldn't get 1 mile where i live with that cam without getting pulled over. Sounds nice.

Ha! I love the muscle car sound with the Camaro. However, I am leaning toward the smooth idle cam for the Vette.
