Can’t wait for that weather here... May 01 is my date to bring the garage queens out of hibernation...

Got mine out of winter hibernation late yesterday afternoon! It was 63 degrees and sunny so it was time.

It's been covered and hooked up to a battery tender in my sister-in-law's garage 10 miles from me and I haven't even seen it since last Thanksgiving. Absence does make the heart grow fonder.

First impressions after 4 months without it:
  • First thing is that I was reminded how big it is after daily driving a Mini Cooper.
  • And yes, the visibility is horrible compared to the Mini.
  • The clutch is not forgiving at all... I eased it out of the garage, stopped at the end of the driveway, and accidently chirped the tires when entering the road because the clutch bites instantly when it engages.
  • The steering is lightning quick and much more sensitive than the Mini, and the Mini has quick steering.
  • To sum it up - it's just such a no-compromise beast in every way.

Thank God I have it back. Driving it gives me a lot of pleasure and helps to briefly take my mind off the pandemic.

Pictures of the Mini's last day in the garage and the Camaro ready to reclaim her rightful spot.

She looks sharp. Remember your social distancing. From the light, you will want to immediately open up a good 3-4 car lengths on the other vehicles.

Yeah I’m jealous. Mine are still neatly tucked away under the covers. 33 days and counting...

Took mine out last night for some highway pulls. Tons and tons and tons of fun.

I have been daily driving my ZL1 lately since the rain left in Georgia several weeks ago. I drove it today because it was 80 degrees out and I turned on the a/c to blow out the cobwebs!
