Tail of the Dragon Krypton Run
 

I am organizing a trip to Tail of the Dragon in June of 2019. All interested owners of a Krypton Camaro are welcome to attend. If you are interested in participating please post something here stating you are interested in going along with a preferred Friday in June. Traffic on the Tail builds on weekends and holidays so the plan is to have a meet on Friday and spend the day driving. Saturday is a rain date and if weather holds out another day on the Tail or some side excursions to the Snake or Devils Triangle. Remember Fathers Day is the 16th when choosing a date. Go Green!

It isnt a question of hotness. It is a chance to get your car out and drive it on one of the coolest roads with people who love to drive. I want to put together as many Krypton cars as possible. If there isnt enough interest from those owners I’d be equally happy sharing the road with the rest of the extended family.

That sounds like a good trip. I'll wear a Krypton Green shirt in my white car. Does that count? Looks like the only takers so far are non-Krypton colored Camaros. :)

If you want to go Ill ride with anyone. Looking for dates in June. Whats your preference.

There are a bunch of cool roads and sites to see. Ill set it up as long as everyone commits to going. We are 700 miles away so I wanna make sure its a good size group.

The 7th or 21st are best dates for me, with the 21st being preferred at this moment.

Calling all drivers! If you want to join up this will be open to more than just Krypton if youre in the area. Post up a date if youre interested.

On the north side of the tail there is the Dragon Pitt Inn and they have about 20 rooms, decent prices less than 100 per night and they own an awesome BBQ place next door. We stayed there in 2017. 865-253-3566 there about 20 miles north at 4407 Calderwood, Jct of hwy 129 @ 72 Maryville, TN 37801
