Maybe it's me. When did this whole thing of roll racing come about? I'll wait until I see a drag race with a tree and launching from a dead stop till this debate is settled IMO

Roll racing isn't now, nor has it ever been racing. Rolling starts are meant for a racetrack with turns and laps. Stock for stock. A heads up drag race is the one and only way to match up cars to know all things are equal. A roll race is never a good way to tell which car is superior. Saying that, I still think a hellcat would just barely edge out a ZL1 in a straight up drag race. But the ZL1 would embarrass the hellcat on any track with corners.

Motortrend will give us this match up in a head to head eventually if it's not already in the works. It's the most highly anticipated faceoff there is right now.
