It's probably a Yenko.

NOPE!

MSRP: $53,255

Capital Discounted Price: $130,945

Capital Sale Price: $130,945

Also, this:

"Price doesn’t include dealer installed accessories. Price(s) include(s) all costs to be paid by the consumer, excluding dealer administrative fee of $699, licensing costs, taxes, registration fee and any applicable GM Certification Fees."

Because over charging you almost 80 grand isn't enough, we'll also charge you 700 bucks for the privilege of our paperwork.

That does not mean that it isn't a Yenko. Seeing as how Yenko's are done by an aftermarket upfitter, a GM website will only show the MSRP of the ordered vehicle with GM options and the dealer would have to add the cost of the Yenko options to their website. Hence, showing an $80k charge over MSRP.

I pulled the shipping data so I know where it is going. It's also a sold order.

I have order forms for Yenko sitting right in front of me.

MSRP: $53,255
Base Yenko 1100hp package: $74,995
Painted Supercharger: $1195
Painted Brake Calipers: $1195
Side Stripe Custom Color: $495
sYc Embroidered head rests: $145
Red line wheel stripe for matte black wheels: $595

Total: $131,875

Wanna place a bet on whether it's a Yenko?

raptor5244 12-01-2021 09:15 AM

:smiling1: Maybe they will pay a $100k for my trade?

IOMCamaroSS 12-01-2021 09:45 AM

At least they’re giving you the Capital discounted price :D

sandm 12-01-2021 10:07 AM

lot of money for a camaro. lots of competition at that pricepoint that are going to be better investments.

jamala00 12-01-2021 10:11 AM

If I had $130k to spend on any auto I wanted, sorry, but it would not be a Camaro. Maybe that's just me....

No, it is not just you.

That does put it into a different light - but you'd think they'd have that listed on the website if it was, just so people like us don't do what we're doing in this thread :smiling1:

Or maybe they do that to all sold orders to scare off people who are shopping around for an in-stock vehicle. Of the two scenarios, I'd say it's more likely you're correct and it's a Yenko.

You sure about that? These Yenko cars are limited to 50 stage 1 and 50 stage 2 for 2022. With the Yenko name attached, you can bet that they will go up in value.

No one thought the 2002 ZL1 Camaros done by GMMG would be a good investment either.

SJFGTO 12-01-2021 10:34 AM

Yenko or not, that is crazy money for a car which will depreciate like the Titanic as soon as its driven off the lot and with performance that can easily be surpassed for far far less money. UGH!
