$500 to spend what should i do???

OK so right now i have LTH, CAI, tune...in the mail i have BMR lowering springs (1.4" front and 1" rear) the OEM tower strut, and im doing 18% tint...but my question is, what should i do as another mod?

Don't do a tune unless you have mods like headers or something. I would go with a CAI!

45THanniversarySS 05-04-2013 06:09 AM

u missunderstood...i already have headers, cai, and a tune on my car...those were all done in 2012, but i just bought lowering springs, the strut bar, and im also doing the window tint in 6 days when i return from afghanistan.

the guestion is, for around 500 maybe a lil more (depending on the mod) what should i do?

Does the $500 include install for the mod?

45THanniversarySS 05-04-2013 06:17 AM

90% of the time i trust myself on the install so just for price of part...if it inturn results in me having to spend more on something else its not a requestable item lol

for example i could buy and install 3.91 gears (really want them) but id have to get a tune which would end up costing more than my expected budget...so as long as i dont have to do something like that then im fine.

OK...done any interior mods yet?

45THanniversarySS 05-04-2013 06:29 AM

i dont plan on doing many interior mods due to everything being in 45th trim but if you have any good suggestions please tos them out...the only one i really saw that i liked was the ambiant lighting to match the door lighting...but what ideas you have...i also have a buddy that does cuztom parts so he is gonna build some custom light up decals

Bamaguy 05-04-2013 06:44 AM

Not very familiar with the 45th special edition...is yours an auto or M6?

PhoenixZL1 05-04-2013 06:46 AM

Honestly I'd probably go with an appearance mod of some sort since you have good performance & suspension stuff done already.

45THanniversarySS 05-04-2013 06:50 AM

its auto, its comes with alot of special stitching, and custom badging so i dont really wanna take away from that...i dont mind doing exterior mods and performance mods but im tryna make everything a little more dedicated to the 45th styling...like the lowering springs are red (matches with the red, white, blue camaro theme) the tower strut is gonna be painted victory red and my buddy is gonna lazer engrave words across it...but im tryna do alot of apperaiance mods for flash and pazaz

Silverlsinva 05-04-2013 06:51 AM

Are you looking for performance or appearance or just a mod in general? performance I would go with a short shifter kit from one of the vendors here. appearance is tough since you have the 45th do you like Led taillights? there are some cool ones of those or you could get yourself some led side markers other than that im not to sure.

45THanniversarySS 05-04-2013 06:57 AM

well im mainly looking for appearance because when i come home at the end of this deployment im CNC porting my heads (stage 3), doin a custom grind cam, LS3 conversion, 3200 stall, 3.91 gears, and supporting suppension mods...so i should be looking at right over 500rwhp and some good 1/4 times... so i need to look good for that much power lol, and after the power mods im doin ZL1 bumper, Razzi rockers, Havoc Deffuser, Havoc spoiler, and a new hood (still deciding)

THEN COMES THE SUPERCHARGER!!!

Bamaguy 05-04-2013 06:58 AM

I was going to recommend a speed shift kit like above but since it is an auto...oh well. For appearance I would recommend something from Oracle for lighting...really cool stuff.

45THanniversarySS 05-04-2013 07:00 AM

Silverlsinva- i dont really wanna swap my shifter grip because its lether wrapped with the matching red blue stitching
