Apple CarPlay/stereo problem

Sometimes, more frequently recently, I have volume control issues when I plug my IPhone in. When I crank up my phone links via Bluetooth and starts playing from my downloaded library. When I plug the phone in and switch over to CarPlay I will randomly lose volume control. Anyone else experience this and if so anyone know of a solution?

I have the same.....Dealer is looking at replacing the radio.....there is no solution right now
