Stingray 2015 Indy 500 Pace Car
 

That is not the Pace Car. It is a car IMS has for 12 months.

Why would they have the 2015 Indy 500 decals on it then?

I enlarged the date on the side...best I can tell it reads 5/24/14...

...might be 15...lol...5/24 for sure

Last year's Indy 500 was on the 25th. So...

Plus the 2014 pace car was a Z/28..,
I was thinking this years might be a Z06, possible they are using this as a decoy or for decal placement????

Theoretically if someone were to be driving in to the garage area to help at the right (wrong?) time a certain car and a couple of Suburbans were returning from a top-secret photo shoot site, and they quickly snapped off a couple of crappy non-zoomed-in pictures from their vehicle, they'd be stopped and politely asked to delete said photos...
They're holdin' on tight to this one!

It may not have been the real pace car for this years 500 but I can assure you it was not any previous pace car either.

:word: Maybe not quite 12, but it's a Commemorative Edition camaro used at IMS. "Festival Car"

Not what we were talking about. I posted a picture of what I was told was the pace car, but was asked to remove it.
The actual Pace car announcement will be soon.... At least that is what I have been told.
I will repost the picture I originally posted after the actual announcement.
