I'm not judging - just a question on Koons processing fee....$599 seems high. Is there no negotiating that? Just finalized a deal for a Toyota for my Mother-In-Law and that fee was $145. We bought well under MSRP so it was not hidden there.

I had a local dealer give me an initial price of $43,298.39 + TT&L yesterday. Not sure how much they'd come off that yet, I'm guessing another grand or two.

I paid $40,960 for a red hot 1ss 1le with the PDR (5k off sticker) at reliable chevrolet in richardson, texas. (DFW area)

Out the door after everything (tax, tag fees) it was 43 and some change.

Carmax in Dallas has a 2017 6speed "Fifty" 2SS with 1000 miles on it for $39k. Limited details only on view - but it has a clean Carfax plus NPP & Nav showing in the pictures.

It looks like there are two stories going on here. On one hand Camaro sales are abysmal and the lots are filled to the brink with Camaros nobody wants to buy. On the other hand the 1LE just hit the market a few months ago and there seems to be a healthy demand for that configuration. If I can't find significantly better pricing, I am going to wait until the fall-winter. The 2018 Mustang refresh will put even more pressure on Camaro sales and by that time most of the people who wanted a 1LE will already have one.

This is standard in the D.C. metro area and very hard to get around. In December, I bought a Forester almost $1000 below holdback and they didn't budge on the processing fee.

Anyone have some suggestions on best dealer pricing for a Hyper Blue 1LE w/ PDR east of the Mississippi. Becky is obviously a great option but looking for other suggestions too. I live in Maine and pretty much everything that is available in New England is overpriced compared to what I have seen elsewhere. My local dealer Banks in Concord, NH has been good to deal with but as of right now they are stuck at $44k and they are estimating 8-10 weeks for a build. Plus they want a $2k minimum, non refundable deposit for the order. Seems foolish to order one from them when there are others out there now. I would prefer to wait until April to take delivery but if the pricing is good, I might pull the trigger by the end of the month. I'd rather not pay $44k before tt&l. $40k would be ideal.

40k is hard before ttl etc I was around 42500 but I have supplier discount and got the extra 1k camaro cash last month but I'm still waiting for mine to arrive

Not sure if you guys realize this, but Kerbeck in NJ is the largest Corvette dealer in the country (most volume every year). They're selling all brand new C7's (every type) with a 15% off MSRP discount + additional discounts/offers. If you really want to get a good deal on this car, visit their site and use that as leverage. Tell your dealer you're also considering a lightly used Z51 or try calling Kerbeck and tell them you'd order a 1LE if they can give you the same discounts. If you go into this completely zero'd in specifically on a new 1LE and make that known to the salesmen, you're not going to come out of this with the best possible deal. Let them convince you to order a car from them.

The bottom line is you should be scoring massive discounts with very little effort. It's a buyers market right now for sports cars. I custom ordered my car a year ago and only paid a few hundred over family pricing and got my rear deck lid swapped and blade spoiler for free.

Local dealer has one on the lot for $41,700 before taxes. Should I jump on this or can I do better later in the year?
