You would think that installing a race seat would be easy but I found it to be a PITA!

Planted bracket has "slop" in the front forks were it slides into the floor of the car.

After I read that review of the planted bracket on this forum I didn't think twice about getting the BK.

I also heard the Sparco sliders have some slop in them so I went with Recaro which work with the BK mounts, just more $$

so is my setup that i found going to work or no?

That sounds good.

However, I would verify the seat brackets are correct for the seat with who you're buying from. I know BK want's you to use their brackets with their mounts, but I made others work by drilling and modifying slots. You could ask Lee at BK what he recommends. My problem with BK mounts is they were too short. Expect some issues to solve along the way.

The setup to install a Sparco QRT-R would be as follows.

- R-9170 Seat Track Adapter Driver Side
- R-9171 Seat Track Adapter Passenger Side
- R-9172 Sub Strap Mount (1 per side)
- Recaro Slider Part# 0.70.9NT (1 per side)
- R-9066 Side Mounts

The above setup will allow you to retain the 3-point seat belts while also using up to 6-point harness. The Seat Track Adapter also includes clip-in lap belt mounts.

That all looks good. What are you using for a harness bar or roll bar? The R-9066 side mounts look a little taller than the R-9061 he told me to use. I was not happy with the R-9061, they are too low and the bottom of the seat was hitting the mounting bolt. It would be nice if the mounting holes were slotted. You won't know for sure until you put it all together and see what adjustments you'll have to make. Just start first with making sure the Camaro track adapters fit and expect to take it in and out a lot and make a lot of adjustments.

i was going with studio rsr and they say they have a seat bracket that fits and sparco slider track set they use but i wanted the brey krause setup so i could re use the stock seat belt on the streets they priced me at $275 for the bracket/slider set
