Lets hope i het more responses with information then i have looking for black leather knee pads. I started hearing noise coming between the main window and my qtr window. Vehile is still under warranty brought it up when other work was getting done and they just seemed to ignore it. It can be heard coming from both sides i notices part of the seal is flattened is that normal on these? Can all who read just respond with if you have the noise and if you seal on the qtr window as this weird bend to it.

Thank you so much for the reply.

My owners manual states "The rear windows should always be raised before the front windows to ensure the best seal."
Don't know if you are doing this or not, but it may or may not help your situation. |
Yes I have some wind noise as well there. I had the dealer check it out and they said yes it has some woind noise but is normal for the convertible. I didn't like the answer but I also drive top down whenever possible so I let it go. My rubber seal looks the same as the above picture.

Dealer is trying this we shall see if it works |
I've only noticed complaints about wind noise on the vert threads but enough people here mention it to be a "feature" rather than an fault. Honestly in all 3 of my verts I've always had wind noise, even in the folding hard top so think it's just one of the joy's of owning a vert. Read some of the threads on seal care, I've used some good products and certainly feel they reduce the noise to something bearable. If it's super bad your window might be out of alignment with is a dealer fix.

I notice it significantly more in my 19 than I had in my previous 11... But like most others, tops rarely up so I don't mind
