Riverside or Shadow Gray
 

Anyone have pictures of Riverside Blue Metallic or Shadow Gray Metallic. I put a deposit down for my order (ZL1) and the dealer called and said the allocation is in and if I want to change anything, I have until Tuesday. I was dead set on Riverside but now I'm thinking about Shadow Gray.

Both are great colors, you can't go wrong either way...

I would go with Riverside Blue! Either color is good but I think RB looks better to me especially for a ZL1.��

I’m picking this Shadow Gray Metallic up tomorrow. Gorgeous blue gunmetal color. Highly recommend.

The combination of 2ss capt's photos and seeing a ZL1 in person with SGM totally convinced me. Plus, riverside looks like Michigan State Police blue to me.

Wow! If I didn't know better I would think those pictures were Nightfall Gray Metallic, no blue in them at all! Looks great! It is amazing how much Shadow Gray Metallic changes in various lighting conditions, I get a ton of compliments on the color...

Do you really want to see ANOTHER ubiquitous black/silver/grey/white car on the road?

Yes. :smiling1: Both are great colors! For me, after seeing Shadow grey metallic at a local dealership on a ZL1 1LE back in 2019, I didn't like the blue hue it had in it when the sun/light hits it and as others who have SGM have said, that's a feature they love about it. So you need to decide if you want a true grey color or if you're ok with it having blue hues in the grey especially in high light situations.

You might even consider Satin Steel Gray. It looks good too! You don’t see many ZL1s in that color at least I haven’t.

I'd check both colors out in person if you can. I think the pictures don't always represent these two very well.

Riverside is a nice color, but does have a bit of a purple hue to it that doesn't always show up in pictures. CW3SF's pictures actually seem to capture the color really well. When I first saw pictures of Riverside, it looked almost exactly the same as Hyper Blue, but in reality the colors are much different.

Similarly, Shadow Gray has a "blue/green" hue as captured in some of the pictures above.

Can't go wrong either way!

As IntimidatorZ and vtirocz mention, the Shadow Grey Metallic has a odd green/blue hue to it. I had a Shadow Grey Metallic 2019 Malibu before I bought my Camaro. I liked the fact that the color was different than traditional grey, but as time passed, I started to not like the color.

As LT4 Greg mentions, Satin Steel Gray looks great in person on the Camaros. It is probably my second choice behind Riverside Blue.

My 2020 LT1 is Riverside Blue and I have no regrets.
