Texas Speed Headers Install
So I just received my set of LTH's and everything looks great.
Just wondering to those who installed them on their own as I will do the same, Were they a perfect fit or did you have to do any extra work to them? I figured it will probably take around 3-4 hours or so but don't want to start taking it apart if something else has to be done. |
OR if you have any recommendations that made the job easier since I will not have a lift to do it. Gonna be doing it in my own garage so any input is appreciated.

would love to know this also...

Holy shit . What a crazy install 10 hours later. Everything was solid until I floored it a few times. Then my traction control light came on and a blinking check engine. Then came the misfire. I'm thinking my spark plug boot wires got burnt

Just a heads up, the headers do touch the 2nd sparkplug on the right side. Looking for a solid solution as I don't want it to burn it.
Also the only problem I ran into was after installing is that you have to grind down the bolt for the steering shaft or it hits when turning. Other than that I'm happy I went with TSP. |

I do however have the steering shaft intermittently hitting the header as I am doing hard right turns only...So u grinded it down a bit?? Got any pics to post to share? would def be appreciated! |
