Very welcome, dgriff. New unit or if you happen to have a stock 80mm we can rework it to 84mm + the other features.

The original 72mm can't be modified that much.

Thanks,

Perfect. Thanks again, Mike!!

Has anyone dyno'd the 76mm yet? I'm curious to see what the difference is.

I haven't had mine dynoed, but I will say I didn't really notice any difference with this TB. If anything it idles rougher and throttle response seems rough as well.

Just ordered mine along with a Cold air inductions intake, definitely should be a noticable difference.

This sounds like a great bang for the buck mod. Plus it's not obvious like a CAI or exhaust, so that's great for those of us that still have our warranty.

I'm hoping to get more feedback from the V6 crowd on this mod. Any V6 guys have any issues with this that have not been resolved?

To really get the full potential you should have a CAI kit or K&N filter at the minimum. Any intake and exhaust mods will add to the effectiveness. Also, I like to use the "butt dyno"as a litmus test!:smiling1: I absolutely LOVE mine. I did some DIY port and polishing to my old stock TB which increased my throttle response, but its nothing compared to the until that SolarPerformance has.

Yep I have a Airaid tube and performance filter with a Flowmaster axle back. So is there anything you don't like about their throttle body? Any quirky traits or anything?

Its_LouieV 06-20-2020 01:45 PM

definitely interested, however, my car is currently completely stock. Will I notice any difference without a cai?

From my understanding and research you will. The main benefits are throttle response and reducing dead spots. Mind you I'm talking a ported stock TB, and not some oversized one though

Nothing at all i don't like. I was immediately impressed the moment I drove the car. It imwas way more responsive. I dont even have a tune yet either

That's good to hear, because I've been reading about a few bad experiences in here recently. Seems like the vast majority have nothing but positive things to say. I think I'm gonna give it a shot. They have their money back guarantee, so there's not much to lose if I don't like it.

I just pulled the trigger on one after emailing Mike about a question, will do the 8 hour procedure and then I think will be a nice fit with my K&N intake

Same here. It should be here tomorrow. I'm gonna follow the same procedure. Let us know how it goes, and I'll do the same

Thanks, Everyone.

For those of you adding a lot of bolt-ons, forced induction, and tuning. We also have an 80mm (84mm effective after porting) that comes with an Adapter Kit to fit and smoothly transition your V6 manifold.
