Push button start at the drive in movie theatre

The GF suggested we go to the drive in and i instantly thought of the car shutting down constantly. Is there any way to keep the radio on for the whole movie? Thanks

Press the start button for over 10 seconds. I think that keeps it on.

We see too far.

IIRC, with an automatic, keep your foot off the brake while holding it down for 10 seconds, with a manual, keep your foot off the clutch and hold for 10 seconds.

Either way, I believe your manual will also describe how to put the ignition in the 'accessories' mode.

Yep...what he said.

We see too far.

Brake is required to start regardless of transmission type, so foot off brake will work with both.

Clutch only in my car.

You can either put in accessory mode (5 minutes only) or service mode which is similar, but will stay on until you turn it off. This is what you want.

Did not know that.

When I first got my 2018 it required the brake too. Now I only have to do the clutch, no more brake required.

Brake is required. Even shows in the attachment @Invertalon posted. If you can start your manual transmission car without the brake, you've modded something.

My car has mods, but I don't know what would change that.

We see too far.

Ah... Yet another change to the car mid-generation. Thanks for the additional info.
