Would like expert advice...
Hello all.
OK I have seen many install vids and i have also googled....but I would like to hear from the experts here. My 2017 1LT....... Will this lip fit? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G76LPBG...v_ov_lig_dp_it Will this spoiler fit? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07855R9M7...v_ov_lig_dp_it thx |
Hi: After reading the product descriptions, I believe they would fit, but you wouldn't like the quality of the products. These are cheaply made and include NO installation instructions. You are way better off saving up a little more money and getting TRUE GM pieces. You'll be a lot happier with the fit an finish of them than you will be with these knockoffs. This is only my opinion , but I have been down the road that you are about to take. Read the reviews, they will tell you all you need to know! Save yourself lots of aggravation.

Ikon Motorsports is fairly reputable for the 6th Gen Camaros. I am currently running their ZL1 1LE bumper along with side skirts and the quality and molding if the ABS isn't bad at all. You won't get the rigidity out of the plastic that you would get out of fiberglass or carbon fiber, but if you're on a budget friendly option, I would definitely point you that way. I would buy it off of Amazon that way you have a purchase guarantee just in case something happens. I also ran that same spoiler and it just came off when I upgraded. It wasn't the best but for the money it wasn't bad you're just needed something to hold me off for a few months

One slight exception I have personal experience with is the RPI Designs SS style spoiler that was fairly good, but even that has an unorthodox, non-OEM mounting style that was a pain to work with. |
I am honestly over buying body components from anyone that is not GM. None I have tried have fit to my liking or are well made enough. I've tried cheap, and expensive ones. Hoods, Bumpers, Spoilers, and they all have something that just irks me.

I bought a front lip and RS spoiler from Ikon for my V6 1LT. The front lip I got also came with no instructions and had some hardware that I wasn’t sure what to do with. It didn’t matter though. It fit perfectly and mounted by undoing the factory bolts underneath and reusing them. To be clear, the holes in the lip were pre-drilled and aligned perfectly with the holes for the factory bolts underneath. It was an easy install. It has been on rock solid for 2 years. I’m not sure why but the lip I got from Ikon came in a primer grey (I thought it would be black). Still haven’t painted it but don’t mind how it looks anyway. The rear spoiler I ordered from them painted. It matches up just fine. I was reluctant to drill holes in the trunk to mount it. Since it is so light and low profile, I mounted it with 3M VHB tape. It’s been on for 18 months and is still nice and tight. At this point I’m happy with what I got from Ikon considering what direct GM versions would have cost.
