Official 2016+ I4 LTG 1/4 Mile Fast List

Welcome to the updated 2.0T Camaro 1/4 Mile Fast List. New changes have been made to the format we will be using a rough draft of Merc's format for now on. We will not be separating DR & Slicks from street tires. Your timeslip must be on Camaro6.com if your not on the list it's because you deleted your timeslip from this forum thread. You must be the driver and owner of the car to be posted shop cars will be noted as shop cars for now on but will be included in the lists with everyone else. Though we do this on the honor system when listing performance mods let's be honest we know if your lying based on current times and you may or may not be called out. Additionally non-GM means anything from a manufacturer not GM or modified by a manufacturer or speed shop.

I would suggest that you post a timeslip to get things started, if you desire to get this stickied. I noticed in the V6 section, there are ZERO slips posted, and Merc was disappointed. I happened to check that section because I was next to a Gen 6 LT/V6 on the dragstrip last week, and was curious how his run compared to others.

Jason, you moved some numbers when you wrote your 60 foot. You actually did a 2.028 per the timeslip.

I have an rs with just an intake and ran at the track today. First time tracking a manual car so lots of driver mod is needed lol fastest I ran was a 15.037 at 95 and I just can't figure out a sweet spot for launching the car. With my best launch I left at about 3800 rpm and with traction control off but got a little too much spin and 60' time was terrible at 2.5 seconds. Any opinions? I also feel as if the run flats are no where near sticky enough but could just be me as it seems the SS guys are getting good runs on them.

Driving a stick for good 1/4 mile runs takes lots of practice. The good thing about that is its a lot of fun learning. When you make that perfect shift run, you will be
:headbang: :burnrubber: Enjoy brother!!!!

That's cool but you need to post your timeslip to be added.

Raise or lower your launch rpm 100-200 rpms at a time until you find what it wants. Sometimes it will vary day today depending on weather conditions, track temp, and track prep... I would start the day with my old M6 2010 SS at 2500 rpms and creep up on it until I found what it liked that day. Typically it seemed to like 2800-3000 on street tired. But that's a different animal.
